When I started to read about Moland and French I thought they seemed very guilty, but the more I read about them the more innocent they seemed. I don't know them and don't know what they have done and one can never know what happened unless you were there. We have heard many strange rumors about them in media, but what do I know. It might have been a naive misstake to go to Congo and so on, but they seem to be normal and sensible people after all, and I would be very surprised if they turned out to be psychopaths. It could have been a self-defense gone wrong, but there's a lot that points to that they are innocent. No motive, no evidence, the witnesses changed their story several times, one witness was criminal and so on. The trial was totally incompetent, no autopsy for example. To panically smile when in crisis is not so hard to understand. I however don't know all details in this story. Congo just want to make money out of them. But we hope for their sake that they are innocent and we hope that they will survive and have a good future. We also hope the best for the widow, her children and all other victims of injustice in Africa and the rest of the world. Whether they are victims, unfairly treated, or wrongly convicted. It is always worth fighting for a human life.
